1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the RaveBae mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”) provided by RaveBae Digital LLC (“RaveBae,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 30 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 30 years old, have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms, and are not prohibited from using the Service under applicable law.

You may not use the Service if you are required to register as a sex offender or if you have been previously banned from the Service, unless RaveBae gives you express written permission.

3. No Background Checks and Meeting Safely

RaveBae does not currently conduct criminal background checks on users before allowing them to communicate through the Service. Optional identity verification, background checks, or other safety tools may be offered in the future, but unless RaveBae expressly states otherwise, you should assume other users have not been background checked or verified by RaveBae.

Use judgment when interacting with other users. Do not share financial information, passwords, one-time codes, home address, or sensitive information with someone you do not know. Meet in public places, tell someone where you are going, arrange your own transportation, and contact emergency services or venue staff if you feel unsafe.

RaveBae is not an emergency service, security service, medical service, or law-enforcement service. Safety tools, reports, prompts, resources, or location features may help you communicate concerns to RaveBae, but they do not replace calling 911, contacting venue staff, seeking medical help, or using other emergency resources when needed.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your account information current, and promptly notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

You may not create an account using false information, impersonate another person, create an account for someone else without permission, create multiple accounts to evade enforcement, or misrepresent your age, identity, location, relationship status, intentions, or affiliations.

5. Profile Information and Visibility

RaveBae allows you to create a profile and provide information about yourself, your identity, orientation, connection intent, location, music taste, bio, scene preferences, lifestyle, compatibility preferences, and identity extras. Some fields may be optional, premium, private, matched-only, unavailable during beta, or changed over time.

You are responsible for the profile information you provide. Do not add information you are not comfortable having processed by RaveBae or displayed according to the feature, privacy prompt, or setting shown in the app.

Depending on the feature and your settings, other users may see information such as your display name, age, profile photos, city, bio, selected music genres, event preferences, scene preferences, performer or artist roles, and user-created events. Your exact birthdate is not intended to be shown publicly. Connection intent may be private and not shown on your profile. Identity extras may be visible only to matched RaveBaes if the app screen says so.

RaveBae may use profile and preference information that is not shown publicly to provide matching, search, filters, recommendations, distance-based results, event discovery, safety features, analytics, and app improvements.

6. Sensitive Profile Fields

Some profile fields may involve sensitive or personal topics, including gender identity, sexual orientation, relationship style, political alignment, spirituality or religion, substance-use comfort level, kink or fetish openness, family information, location, private messages, and safety reports. These fields are optional unless required for a feature you choose to use.

Substance-use comfort fields are for compatibility and preference expression only. They do not authorize, encourage, or permit illegal drug sales, illegal drug use, impaired driving, unsafe conduct, or violations of venue, festival, local, state, or federal rules.

Kink or fetish openness fields are for compatibility and preference expression only. They do not authorize harassment, explicit content without consent, non-consensual sexual conduct, solicitation, sexual services, exploitation, or content involving minors.

7. Location, Matching, and Discovery

RaveBae may use city, state, approximate location, precise device location when you grant permission, search location, event location, IP-based location, and other location-related information to provide matching, nearby results, distance filters, events, raves, safety features, and community discovery.

Your exact real-time location is not intentionally shown to other users. Depending on the feature and your settings, other users may see your city, approximate location, distance, event location, or nearby results. You can use manual city search or deny location permission, but some features may not work properly without location information.

Matching, recommendations, search results, distance filters, profile visibility, and event suggestions may be based on automated systems, user settings, user-provided information, location, app activity, and other factors. We may change these systems at any time.

8. Messages and Chat

Messages are stored so RaveBae can provide the Service, deliver conversations, support users, investigate reports, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations. Messages are not currently end-to-end encrypted unless the app expressly says otherwise.

Authorized RaveBae personnel and service providers may access message-related information when reasonably necessary for operations, support, safety, moderation, legal compliance, or abuse prevention. Do not send information you do not want stored or potentially reviewed in connection with support, safety, moderation, or legal matters.

9. User Content

“User Content” means any content you submit, upload, post, send, display, or otherwise make available through the Service, including photos, profile answers, bio text, music profile links, messages, comments, event listings, event details, reports, reviews, and feedback.

You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant RaveBae a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to host, store, reproduce, display, publish, distribute, modify, adapt, and use your User Content as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, promote, protect, and provide the Service.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the rights necessary to submit your User Content and that your User Content does not violate these Terms, another person’s rights, or applicable law.

We may remove, restrict, or refuse to display User Content at any time if we believe it violates these Terms, may create risk, or may harm RaveBae, users, or others.

10. User-Created Events and Meetups

RaveBae may allow users to create, publish, host, promote, join, or discuss events, meetups, travel plans, festival plans, or other gatherings. Some event-related features may be free, paid, limited, premium, unavailable during beta, or changed over time.

Unless RaveBae expressly states otherwise, user-created events are created by users, not by RaveBae. RaveBae does not control and is not responsible for user-created events, event hosts, venues, performers, promoters, ticketing terms, capacity, cancellations, safety, accessibility, transportation, weather, age restrictions, substance use, alcohol policies, or other event conditions.

If you create or host an event through the Service, you are responsible for the accuracy of the event information, legal compliance, venue rules, required permissions, guest communications, safety planning, and your conduct. You may not use the Service to promote illegal activity, unsafe conduct, drug sales, unauthorized events, or events that violate these Terms.

11. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the Service to:

Harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, exploit, defame, abuse, or harm another person.
Post or send sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate content, threats, hate, violence, or illegal content.
Impersonate anyone, misrepresent your identity, lie about your age, or create fake or misleading profiles.
Upload content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
Solicit money, run scams, promote pyramid schemes, sell counterfeit goods, or engage in fraud.
Promote, coordinate, sell, or facilitate illegal drugs, trafficking, weapons, violence, self-harm, exploitation, or other illegal activity.
Pressure users into unsafe meetings, sexual activity, substance use, purchases, travel, financial transactions, or sharing private information.
Collect, scrape, harvest, or misuse user information without permission.
Reverse engineer, interfere with, overload, attack, bypass, or disrupt the Service or its security features.
Use bots, automation, scripts, fake accounts, or unauthorized tools to access or manipulate the Service.
Use the Service for spam, mass solicitation, unauthorized advertising, unauthorized recruiting, unauthorized promotions, or unauthorized event sales. Ordinary profile references to creative collaboration or business networking are permitted only if truthful, lawful, non-spammy, and compliant with these Terms.

12. Reporting, Moderation, and Enforcement

RaveBae may provide tools to report users, messages, events, safety issues, fake accounts, harassment, or other concerns. Reports may include account information, messages, event information, screenshots, location-related information, time/date information, device information, and other context.

We may review reports, investigate activity, remove content, restrict visibility, issue warnings, suspend or terminate accounts, block access, preserve information, or take other action we believe is appropriate. We are not required to investigate every report or explain every moderation decision.

If you believe you are in immediate danger, contact emergency services or venue staff. RaveBae reports are not a substitute for emergency help.

13. Paid Features, Premium Sections, Affiliate Links, Sponsors, and Promotions

RaveBae may offer, test, change, or remove paid features, subscriptions, boosts, premium profile sections, paid event-hosting tools, ticket affiliate links, hotel or travel affiliate links, merchandise, ads, sponsor placements, contests, sweepstakes, or promotions. These features may not be available during beta or at launch.

If purchases are offered through Apple, Google, Stripe, or another payment processor, the payment processor or app store may handle billing, renewals, cancellation, refunds, and payment information under its own terms. Additional terms may apply at the point of purchase.

RaveBae may receive commissions, referral fees, sponsorship fees, advertising fees, or other compensation when users interact with affiliate links, ticket links, hotel links, sponsor content, or third-party offers. RaveBae does not control third-party purchases, refunds, venues, ticket availability, travel providers, or partner terms.

Contests, sweepstakes, and promotions may have additional official rules. If there is a conflict between these Terms and promotion-specific rules, the promotion-specific rules control for that promotion.

14. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services, including app stores, cloud infrastructure providers, analytics providers, Firebase or other chat providers, email providers, payment processors, maps, ticketing platforms, event platforms, hotel or travel partners, music platforms, social networks, sponsors, advertisers, and affiliate partners.

RaveBae is not responsible for third-party services, content, availability, errors, security, privacy practices, terms, purchases, or disputes. Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and policies.

15. Intellectual Property

The Service, including the app, software, design, text, graphics, logos, trademarks, trade names, features, functionality, and other materials, is owned by RaveBae or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property and other laws.

Subject to these Terms, RaveBae grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your own lawful use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Service except as allowed by law or expressly permitted by RaveBae.

16. Copyright Complaints

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, contact us at support@ravebae.io with enough information to identify the copyrighted work, the allegedly infringing material, your contact information, and a statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized.

17. Account Deletion, Suspension, and Termination

You may delete your account within the app. Deleting your account may remove your profile from active display, but some information may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy, including information needed for safety, security, legal compliance, disputes, backups, fraud prevention, or enforcement.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account or access to the Service at any time if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, harmed another user, misused the Service, violated law, or otherwise acted in a way that may harm RaveBae, users, or others.

18. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RaveBae disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, reliability, security, compatibility, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

RaveBae does not warrant that users are truthful, verified, safe, compatible, available, or suitable for you. RaveBae does not warrant that events, meetups, venues, ticket links, affiliate offers, music profile links, or third-party services are safe, accurate, available, lawful, or suitable for you.

19. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RaveBae and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, partners, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, personal injury, emotional distress, reputational harm, lost goodwill, service interruption, or unauthorized access arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RaveBae’s total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid RaveBae for the Service in the six months before the claim or $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or limitations of liability. In those jurisdictions, the limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.

20. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RaveBae and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, partners, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to your User Content, your use of the Service, your events or meetups, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your violation of another person’s rights.

21. Governing Law and Venue

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, these Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, courts located in Dallas County, Texas will have exclusive jurisdiction and venue over disputes not subject to another dispute-resolution process agreed in writing.

22. Changes to the Service and These Terms

We may change, suspend, discontinue, restrict, or remove any part of the Service at any time, including free features, premium features, matching systems, event tools, paid features, affiliate links, sponsor placements, and beta functionality.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you through the app, by email, through an app-store listing, or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
