RaveBae users can request deletion of their account and associated personal data at any time.
Delete your account in the RaveBae app
- Open RaveBae and go to Settings.
- Select Delete Account.
- Review the confirmation message and confirm the deletion.
Request deletion without the app
Email support@ravebae.io from the email address associated with your RaveBae account. Use the subject line Delete my RaveBae account and include your RaveBae display name, if available.
For your security, never include your password in the request. We may ask you to verify account ownership before completing deletion.
What is deleted
Once the request is verified, RaveBae deletes the account and its associated personal data. This includes profile information, photos, location and connection preferences, likes, passes, matches, connections, blocks, reports, notifications, device tokens, RSVPs, login credentials, active sessions, and linked sign-in providers. Firestore chat messages, conversation memberships, and presence data associated with the account are also removed through an automated backend process.
Deletion timing and temporary retention
Account access is revoked and database records are removed when deletion is processed. Associated chat and image-file cleanup begins immediately. If a temporary storage error prevents an image file from being removed, an automated daily cleanup job retries the deletion.
RaveBae temporarily retains only an opaque internal user identifier and the deletion timestamp for up to 30 days. This limited record contains no name, email address, photo, message, or other profile data. It is used only to prevent a still-valid session from recreating the deleted account and to allow automated cleanup to finish. The record is then deleted automatically.
